The Band at Romsey Bandstand in September 2006

The Band outside the Star Public House (Tytherley). Believed to be in 1880, the year the band was formed. This image was the inspiration for Richard Taylors composition, The Star, specially composed for the band in 2005.

Practices are held every Friday evening at 8pm in the Parish Room, Romsey Road, Lockerley. Next to St John The Baptist Church (click here for directions). New and visiting players are always most welcome.
